Awealthy landowner risked losing his "dream" farm to pay a divorce demand presented by his wife the day before she disappeared, a court heard. Adrian Prout, 47, who runs a pheasant shoot and a pipe-laying business, is accused of murdering retired teacher Kate Prout, who had asked for an Pounds 800,000 settlement.
Mrs Prout, 55, went missing on November 5, 2007, the day after the pair had argued over the divorce money at 276-acre Redhill Farm in Gloucestershire.See the full content of this document
