Summary
Nine European countries are now signed up to a super marine energy network, Norway being the last.
This is interesting as Norway is to host the OSPAR Ministers Meeting in September. OSPAR is charged with protecting the NE Atlantic and has been for the past decade. It has failed to deliver a network of conservation sites so you can see that the ecosystem approach is all about industry and fails to protect what little habitats and fish stocks that are left. Industry first, second, third and so on and like our Olympic winter athletes conservation comes in at about 20th with Lundy the gold medal for our meagre conservation reserve.
