Summary
I had the most wonderful surprise this week when returning home from a conference. I found a bulging bag of damsons hooked onto my front door knob. In fact the bag was so full that I had a job unhooking it.
I knew as soon as I peered inside the bag who had left it. One of my neighbours, Peter, is a builder and had mentioned that on the site where he is working on there are loads of fat, ripe damsons, going to waste. Would I like some?
