Today is the first public day of Britain's largest and most important two day wildlife event The Festival of Nature and we are fortunate that it is effectively in our back yard.

But back yards, or more particularly gardens, are increasingly becoming critical places to many native and wild species. With an alarming number of species of both flora and fauna disappearing every year we need to, and can, do something to reverse this alarming trend.
