Cirencester, known as the capital of the Cotswolds, has a population of about 19,000. Mumbai, formerly Bombay, is the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra and has a population of nearly 14 million. It is the second most populous city in the world.
In 2008 crime rates in Mumbai rose by 5.4 per cent. Most frequent crimes included murder and attempted murder, dowry deaths, abduction, kidnapping, rape and robbery.
