Philippines - Prosecutors in the Philippines have filed charges in the biggest and bloodiest murder case in the country's history after the apparently politically motivated massacre of 57 people.

Justice Department prosecutors said Andal Ampatuan Snr - the head of a powerful family - and 195 others, including security forces, were part of a conspiracy to ambush and kill members of the rival Mangudadatu family.
