Chelsea, Nationwide and West Bromwich building societies, along with Saga, have all launched cash ISAs open only to the over 50s, while Saga has launched a two-year, fixed-rate ISA open to the whole market.
ISAs aimed specifically at the over 50s are generally mediocre deals, but some of these new offers are worth looking at. They also come at a time when a series of providers have cut the rate on their ISAs. Nationwide''s new three-year, fixed rate ISA for the over 50s has a great rate of 4 per cent, which betters the previous best-buy aimed at the over 50s from Principality at 3.8 per cent, but fails to match the best three-year account - from Principality - at 4.2 per cent.See the full content of this document
