Welcome back to the last instalment of my year's series on how to write. When you were little, do you remember your parents telling you stories about when they were little? If you were anything like me, you'd yawn with more than a touch of boredom and promptly forget what they were saying about the day Auntie Marge got lost at the fair or how your father met your mother on the top of a double decker bus.
