Thousands priced out of the property market have been given new hope after plans for a huge increase in house building in the West were unveiled.
An independent panel, set up to review the draft Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS) blueprint on how the region should develop over the next 20 years, has recommended 10,000 affordable homes should be built every year.
