Summary
I Need to let off steam over the photo and write-up of yet another appalling eating contest (Western Daily Press, November 24).
The word eating does not describe this cramming of food into one's mouth. I was taught to eat properly and other good manners. I expect many people of my age can remember our seniors telling us to "eat with your mouth closed". May I suggest to all these people who receive pounds1,000 for these idiotic contests that they should visit one of the many countries where conditions of hunger make even us guilty of eating.See the full content of this document
