A West council chief has been forced to apologise on behalf of one of her staff after an official report referred to a black person as "coloured".
Bristol City's Council's chief executive Jan Ormondroyd issued the apology, saying she was sorry for the offence caused after one of the men referred to made an official complaint. The comments were made by an officer investigating an alleged fraudulent housing benefit claim.See the full content of this document
