A South West harbour was yesterday ''under siege" from fishing boats chasing a bonanza crop - of anchovies.
The sea battle has broken out after two trawlers netted over Pounds 72,000 worth of the salty fish in just two days. Anchovies are normally only found in warmer waters but freak weather conditions have seen large schools swim into the English Channel.
