The Trinidadian follows in the footsteps of West Indian stars like Viv Richards and Joel Garner and, although his stay at Taunton may be briefer, he hopes to make a significant impact. Pollard is set to make his debut in tonight's Friends Provident t20 South Group match against Middlesex at Lord's.
